Welcome to First Grade!

Welcome back Mann Mustangs to the 2016-2017 school year! The first grade team is busy getting our classrooms ready for you. We can't wait to meet you. It will be a year full of new things- learning new math problems, reading new stories, making new discoveries in science, and making new friends. We hope you're as excited as we are! Here are some important dates you should know:

­First Grade Meet and Greet­ - Friday, August 26th from 1:30­ p.m. -2:30 p.m.

• Come drop off your supplies and meet your first grade teacher!
• Ms. Cairns- Room 108
• Mrs. Vincent- Room 110
• Mrs. Domalick- Room 116B
• Mrs. Pecora- Room 116A (It's around the corner in the lunchroom)

 Back to School Picnic - ­Thursday, August 25th from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on the blacktop

• Come see all of your friends and meet your new teacher!

­First Day of School - ­Monday, August 29th from 7:55 a.m. to 2:55 p.m.

• Hooray! The first day of school is here! Please be sure to pack a nut-free snack and a lunch for the first day of school.  First grade meets at door 4S.

Curriculum Night -  Wednesday, September 7th ­from 6 p.m.-7 p.m.

• Come to room 108 for a presentation from 6:00 p.m.-6:30 p.m. and then meet your child's teacher in the classroom for an open house from 6:30 p.m.-7:00 p.m.
• Childcare will be provided in the gym.
