week 10!
A fun Halloween candy graphing homework that is optional is in your child's mail folder today! In addition, I sent home any and all Halloween fun pages from their school folders. So if they complete any of this over the weekend, they can return it for a Horseshoe Hooray next week! :)
Speaking of homework! We should be practicing our address and phone number as the our firefighter returns next week for his 2nd visit and each child that knows their information will get a prize! :)
Not sure what to do with all that candy after tomorrow night…..
The 3rd grade brownie troop is organizing an all school Halloween Candy Drive. The candy collected will be transported to the soldiers at the Great Lakes Naval Base. Classroom teachers will accept candy donations starting Monday through Thursday. The class with the most (weight) candy donated will receive a pizza party lunch.
We are collecting Box Tops! Check out my post below for more information! I have also added some important dates of note to our calendar. Thursday, November 6th is pajama day at Mann School. Your child can bring wear their jammies and bring $1 to donate to the OPRF Food Pantry! Friday, November 21st is an all school celebration for our good behavior! We will have a board game time! Your child is welcome to bring in a board game to play that day. I will remind you of both days as they get closer!
