Candy Corns are the BEST!

Today the Candy Corns began to learn about our end-of-the-year video project. It will tie in with a song that we have chosen called The Best by Joe Esposito. {Think 1985 Karate Kid}. In class today the children saw last years first graders example of video project. We then heard the song and began discussing the lyrics and what they mean to us! I emphasized to the children that while the song is from a karate movie, and there are references to "fight" in the song. We are looking at this song to show us we need to "fight" for our goals and dreams and never give up. Ask them--they should be able to clarify this for you :)
