Monday morning notes...

Greetings!

This week there will NOT be any math homework. You can visit the Learning Targets tab to see what we will be up to in class this week. We will starting unit 4 in our Everyday Math series in which we study measurement. We will be studying measurement of thermometers as well as standard and non-standard forms of measurement. In addition, to understanding why we need a standard form of measurement. We will still have our math facts assessment on Thursday, so I encourage you to continue to practice those facts each day. We send home the written assessment in order to give you the opportunity to practice a written assessment with your child {like they will see on Thursday}. We allow for 2 minutes to complete the written assessment. If ever at all confused about homework please feel free to email me OR you can always check the Homework tab on my blog.

We will be having our next Mustang Motto Day on Thursday, December 20th. Our goal is 100% Cairns Candy Corn participation! Your child can wear our Cairns Candy Corn t-shirt, Mann gear, or our school colors of navy blue and orange! We also will be allowed to go shopping at the Mann School Mustang Motto Store!

As this is a busy next few weeks for everyone, I am working hard to remind the children that the behavior expectations are the same in room 108. We will have different schedules and routines, but I will make sure the children are clear what is expected of them and what we will be doing each day with a posted agenda on the board--and most importantly we have fun together while also being our best self!

Thanks so much for ALL you do!
