Monday morning notes...

Greetings!

I hope everyone had a wonderful {rainy} weekend!

This is parent teacher conference week! I am eager to speak with all of you about what we have been up to thus far, and where we would like the path to lead for your child both academically and socially. If you have a 7:00am or 7:15am conference, I assure you I will come down to the main doors let you in as the office is not open. {I might be in conference prior to yours, so I will still come down for my back to back conferences.} In first grade, we typically do not have the child attend. That said, if child care is a concern please feel free to bring your child and they can read books or use math manipulatives in the classroom while we conference.

As our math program is beginning the study of coins, I am asking students to bring in real coins to use during the course of the school year. These coins will be returned at the end of the school year. I ask that your child brings in 10 pennies, 10 nickels, 10 dimes, and 4 quarters by Friday October 19th. Thank you so much in advance for bringing these to school to help us learn with real money!

Thanks so much as always for ALL you do!
