What should you work on over the summer...

Many of you are asking what you should have your first grader {soon to be second grader}work on over the summer. Here are some suggestions!

• Sign up for the Oak Park Library summer reading program on Saturday, June 2nd!
• Read at least 20 minutes a day! Read good fit books from the Oak Park Library or log-on to your RazKids Account {my username is: kcairnsa. If you need your log-in information just email me!}
• Keep a daily journal! Write about what you are reading or what you are up to all summer! 
• Practice your math facts! You can print them off my blog in the Flash Card Fun section or you can log-on to your XtraMath account. This just takes 5-10 minutes a day!
• Go to TenMarks! I have sent you home with your log-in username and password. If you need it over the summer send me an email! :)
• Play outside! {Remember to wear sunscreen!}
