Splat the Cat creator...

The author and illustrator of the Splat the Cat, Rob Scotton, came to visit us at Mann School today! He read Scaredy-Cat Splat and his brand-new-never-before-read-out-loud-to-a-group-of-children-before book called Secret Agent Splat!! Mr. Scotton shared where the idea of Splat the Cat originated from (be sure to ask your first grader!) and we learned how to draw Splat on our own!
